Watanabe Oyster is the only oyster meat extract in the Japanese market. We extract and enrich minerals and other nutritional elements from carefully selected fresh spring oysters harvested in Japan that are rich in natural vitamins and minerals using a proprietary method that retains the health benefits in their entirety.
*We obtained Japanese process patents (No. 3391642 and 3391643) for our oyster meat double extraction method, the first of its kind in Japan.
*We obtained patents for our oyster meat depressurized extraction and concentration method in Japan and the United States in 2010, as well as in France and the United Kingdom in 2012.
1. We carefully select domestically cultured fresh raw spring oysters that are rich in natural vitamins and minerals.
2. Raw oyster meat is extracted twice in hot water and alcohol through a depressurized and pressurized extraction process that does not shred the meat. This way, vitamin, minerals and other nutritional elements are extracted from oyster meat without losing their health benefits. No chemicals are used throughout the entire process.
3. The oyster extract is then vacuum condensed in the final process. The product contains an excellent balance of zinc, selenium, natural minerals and other nutritional elements in a natural state that are readily digestible.
We were among the first dietary supplement manufacturers in Japan to be certified under the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) program for dietary supplements in December 2006, a system aimed to ensure consistent quality by preventing human error, contamination and quality deterioration throughout the entire manufacturing process.
