As seen in the Renaissance in Italy and Chang’an in the Tang Dynasty of China, societies that engage in cultural exchange invariable flourish. The Watanabe Oyster Laboratory actively holds sessions and seminars to exchange information on our products and research because we aim to contribute to the creation of a culture of health and wellbeing.
WOL organizes more than 70 seminars nationwide each year as part of our commitment to share the latest scientific findings on our products and relevant research. We also hold general meetings in six major regions, including Tokyo, Hokkaido and Kyushu, once a year.
On July 25, 2004, WOL organized a special lecture to commemorate the Japan visit of Dr. Zhang Hangyin, director of the Peking University Hospital, and his colleagues. Held at the Tokyo Big Sight international convention center, the event drew 437 participants and was cosponsored by ASTEM Inc., NAKAKITA Co., Ltd., VITAL-NET Inc., MOROO Co., Ltd., Yonyaku Co., Ltd. and RYUYAKU Co., Ltd. Dr. Zhang and three other PUH representatives gave presentations on the collaborative PUH-WOL clinical research.
Health counseling is a vital component in WOL’s commitment to tailor specific products to individual customers, and our partner pharmacists are central to this effort. That’s why we ask pharmacists to meet at regular intervals to exchange and discuss insights on health counseling and related issues.
