“Oyster Forum in Kesennuma” (left photo) was held in Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture on February 7, 2016. The mayor of Kesennuma, Shigeru Sugawara, and the chairman of Branch Steering Committee of Miyagi Prefecture Fishery Union Kuwahara Branch, Masanori Hatakeyama, attended this event together with 180 participants. Dr. Mitsugu Watanabe, the president of our company, gave a lecture there (center of the photo).
We obtained many surprised and satisfied comments from the lecture participants on the health benefits of oysters (right side of the photo).
The Oyster Forum has become an event to think more about the utilization of Japan’s marine resources to for the future. We would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who attended the meeting.
