Watanabe Oyster Laboratory researchers took part in the Asian Sleep Research Society (ASRS2014) held at Kerala, India from September 22 to 24. This was the first ever ASRS event in India.
A WOL team gave a poster presentation titled “Brain Permeability of a Novel Antioxidant Identified from Oysters and its Effects on Brain Waves During Sleep.”
ASRS was founded in 1994 in Tokyo. An international scientific organization, the Society seeks to “promote all aspects of sleep research” through scientific meetings, training and education, as well as by establishing various fellowships and awards.
